We’ve had a big change at The Payroll Department this past year and people are still a little surprised by it. To us, it just makes sense. Customer service becomes a new customer service at The Payroll Department. We see the addition of bookkeeping services as a truly natural extension of the services we offer, for a couple of reasons.

It was at year end when we would supply statements and information to our clients that we were hearing how nice it was to have this portion of their financial information taken care of – and wouldn’t it be wonderful if their bookkeeping was handled as simply and easily.

That really confused us because we KNEW that some of the clients saying that had bookkeepers handling their finances. What??? We (kindly) expected that the bookkeeping records for some businesses would consist of a box full of receipts and check stubs, because that’s how many small business owners operate.
